Hi Barbara and too thanks for sharing your story. It helps build a team to know we have battle buddies in this war against bad health especially the sad state of FDA allowing anything in the food i think my problem was accumulation of toxins from Army field rations, exposure to Sarin gas, oil fires, depleted uranium etc. And i ate a lot with a huge appetite and metabolism with tough duty assignments. I really think there is a correlation too to the spike in America's problem with the advent of genetic modification of our food supply it is evil what they have done to natural creation
Thanks for sharing your food regime...as someone who is a fanatic about eating right, I was very interested in seeing how you ate. In my own history...for the first 12 years there was no food barely at all. I don't remember sitting down at a table until I was about 7...and was embarrassed...I did not know how to use utensils (at a relative's home). Then, when WW11 started, there was some money for food, but I was ten pounds underweight, until I was 12. Then, on the spur of the moment I had a chance to go to California...and wound up living with an aunt for 5 months. I did not want to eat what she fed me, because my 'daddy' told me it was not for human beings. She said, "I don't care what your father said...eat it" In 5 months I gained 30 pounds and it affected me hormonally...It was dairy....cows have 52 hormones in their bodies to produce milk. .I went from being flat chested to a 34 D. I was devastated! I wanted to hide my body! It became the Battle of the Bulge' for a lifetime. My early years thereon I was exposed to all the wrong foods and nearly died in childbirth. I learned on my own body...and have been seeking answers all my life. It became my passion! It took 61 years, until my first book was published. Now, I have racked up 90 years and have written additional information in my Journey to Wellness substack.
