Need Help to Get Ready - Look Up to You
Swamp Ugly to Mount Indomitable-Triumph (SUMIT) Program
Swamp’abus: Program Charter/Course Syllabus for the Gator SUMIT FERPS Training Program. This Gator FERPS SUMIT Program Guide will help you with a holistic waterfall planning approach to decision-making on how to proceed and commit resources in the field of emergency disaster and survival. The ultimate target is to miss any need for survival by being called to the mountain of our God. If not, be prepared to have to survive.
Indomitable Triumph: “And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God” (Rev 21:10, KJV).

Gator SUMIT: Progressive and incremental emergency response planning and survival and disaster readiness, survival, and added value of outdoor life activities (i.e., hiking, camping skills training and orientation program, etc). The ultimate goal is to enable the best readiness rate for a significant disaster event and build the ability to tactically employ and practice the technical skills learned in a demanding environment.
Welcome to the Gator SUMIT Family Emergency Response Planning & Survival (FERPS) Training Program.
My name is Todd Lutz, and I hope this program provides the tools you will need to properly prepare and build your readiness foundation on bricks, not straw or rotting wood.
Gator SUMIT is an intensive total End-to-End (E2E) “survival life” development process that will provide a superb foundation to build upon. The concepts generated throughout this process can be used to help ensure you can survive any scenario.
Swampism is a mindset encouraging candidates to advocate resiliency and veteran character traits needed to build decisiveness, patience, and flexibility to survive swampy asymmetric environments and maximize mountainous opportunities. If you have time and desire, I have provided a free pre-course related to personal and professional development (see below the GBM 101 - GATES PETLL Pre-Course summary).
A Swampist learning philosophy will help build endurance and a positive attitude towards getting dirty and totally immersed in a process to build the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) to:
Build a modular structure of learning to advocate capabilities in contemporary operational environments with heavy reliance on agile smart and living survival-life strategies and tactics.
Build total, all-encompassing elements (information, systems, material, Concepts of Survival Support (CoSS) procedures, people, etc).
Establish a continuous cycle of learning through the creation of an environment conducive to learning contiguously in a combination of distance (online), mobile, and residential forums.
Create a complete framework for perpetual knowledge assimilation and management.
Organize and control competing forces in life that are enemies in your path to adequate preparedness.
Build a totally inclusive framework not just for learning but active simultaneous work completion through tangible checklists.
Maximize the potential of the program by reducing administrative issues and potential distractions by providing an optimal one-stop shop for information.
Mentally prepare to engage in a transformational thought process from What-to-Think (W2T) to a dynamic lifelong skill of How-to-Think (H2T) in an asymmetric world environment ensuring life survivability.
Institute clear Communicative Infrastructure (CI) to allow effective transcendence of the educational intent of the program learning objectives.
Your “thesis” in this university of real-life “classroom” (Swamp-Room) learning will help in proposals you make for your own successful methodology for Concepts of Survival Support (CoSS).
Getting a GRASP (Gator Rapid Action Survival Plans). The process to rapidly execute the FERPS GDMP in the conduct of surveys, estimates, alternative development & analysis, planning, resourcing, educating, rehearsing, assessing, and enablement of the CDPIP for your household. If you are rushed for time, you can skip the discussions in the texts and go directly to the worksheets, that will help guide you step-by-step to attain a minimal readiness status.
Small-Group-Unit (SGU) Team Development: Self-motivation and development of interest in field activities may be a challenge. To build a sense of pride within your family and/or immediate significant others, I recommend you create a set of positive values toward total-life learning. I like the Gator mascot as it lends a sense of toughness and experience towards endurance to survive anything. Build your own platform (mottos, creeds, mascots, etc.) to build your SGU esprit de corps.
Outstanding Todd!
Surely a truly excellent application of your skillset for the edification of others.
I commend your effort!
JOG!
