When I conducted an audit trail of where my fall from God occurred, it was right at the time of exposure to music (i.e., Kiss, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne, etc). Once I finally put on my spiritual filters, I finally realized I did not want to listen to any more of the master musician’s (Satan’s) luring words which represent everything anti to the Christ who died for us. I no longer want to be in a Motley Crue; know the things of Satan:
I do not want to be on the Highway to Hell anymore (AC/DC).
Or ring Hell’s Bells (AC/DC).
I do not want to shout with (or at) the Devil (Motley Crue Shout at the Devil).
Hell really is a bad place to be (AC/DC’s Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be).
I do not want the Number of the Beast (Iron Maiden).
Only God’s Sabbath – no Black Sabbath (Black Sabbath).
You cannot buy it; there is only one way (John 14:6) to Heaven (Stairway to Heaven).
Self-Inventory of Hidden Evil in Your Life: The list goes on and on. The more I learn and trust God’s Word, the more He guides me on right and wrong. Below list the inventory of things in your home which deceive, plant, subvert, and cultivate Satanic doctrine – no matter how subtle:

While you search for that worldly answer which will never be found in this life, work to draw the living water and truth from the Bible, and the Lord and He will provide living water. “The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things (John 4:25, KJV). Seek, knock, and find answers through objective study. Do not let anyone tell you what to think; search from your heart. Worship the Father in spirit and truth, and you may truly see.

Oh that is a big one Rosey Bee The Lord showed me a a critical lesson ...we must forgive others leaving the altar and forgiving others. A true litmus test for a Christian the number one rule love God with all our hearts and then love our neighbors. So many who in my life I prayed for even though they hit me and were mean like my step father. I prayed to God for him. The ultimate way I do is to think on that moment of truth. When someone is standing before God during the Day of The Lord no matter how much I may have "hated" someone in this life the thought of anyone perishing to hell helps me burn the chaff of unimportance
Excellent points made about the influences of this world that try and pull us away from Christ.
I too grew up listening to heavy metal and hard rock music.
There are so many worldly things that can do just that besides music. We must always be aware of what we listen to read and who we associate with to make sure we don’t get off of the narrow path.
Thanks again for reminding us of this truth !!!
